You need to find time to relax, chat to your mates about things it'll make you feel better, the more you hold you feelings in the worst you can feel.

Perhaps you can speak with a school counsellor. I hate college because of the workload

Sorry, but you should see a counselor. There are things that can happen to you if you dont....just do it.

Why don't you try relaxation and meditation few few days before you have to go back.
It will relax you and stop thinking of the bad stuff.
Once in college, all will be fine.
If you don't know how to relax and meditate, try book (with CD) "anxiety toolbox" from Gloria Thomas.

Take a break! if you can plan free time in between homework assignments it will really help.

i dnt mean to be rude but are you sure your nor just feeling a little down
its really common these days for people to think they're depresssed but really just feel a bit upset...

if it is the case that you are depressed try talking to people who really know you

Im affraid the workload is something you have to deal with you just have to find away to balance it out so that you find time for you and your mates. College is not the be ll and end all if it is making you that depressed you should maybe think about lowering the amount of work you are doing could you not defer some of your study until next year

It's worth making an appointment with your doctor to check that you may be clinically depressed. It's best to catch it in it's earliest stage as it will be easy to treat. If you're not eating or sleeping with worry that's a sign that you could be slipping into psychotic behaviour at worst if you don't break the habit, you need to talk to a doctor as soon as possible ok, don't be frightened. Take care, and try Rethink website for more info on mental health issues.

try talking to someone outside your mates talking to a stranger might help , it helped me i was diagnosed with clinical depression and talked to a stranger it helped a little , if the few girls really annoy you turn the tables on them like saying is that right or just argeeing with them they will soon give up , i did that and iot worked for me i hope that this helps you take care

Hey go see your GP straight away and tell them how low you are feeling. I have depression at the moment and thought I could get out of it myself - you can't. It got to the point where I tried to take my own life cause I didn't get help. Don't get to that stage, it's awful. Go get some help now XX

Your building up to feeling depressed even before you return to college.
Not eating or sleeping is not helping obviously, so a quick check up with your G.P may be in order just to make sure that you're not ill, but basically I feel it's apprehension of what 'might happen'.. and honest you've nothing to worry about.

You say you have some good mates, well concentrate on these, and let all the other 'stuff' go over your head.. it's not important.

Your education/study is up to you, and how you propose to tackle it...this is the main reason why you're at college, as for your parents they're proud of you and your achievements...

it's YOU that has to prove to yourself, that you can 'do this' for yourself, family and future.

Good luck

Most all of those who can walk, can run!

Gym shoes are helpful.

So also are Dolormite Tablets, available in the vitamin and minerals section. Get some fish oil capsules while you are there.

Put lemon juice in more of your food.

Drink that stuff called Clamato.

Learn how to make Linguine with Lemon and Parsley Clam Sauce, using a can of clams and fresh minced parsley. Also contains fried in butter minced onions and diced garlic clove. Squeeze the lemon or lime in there.

Do all of this, start clicking it off.

Drink more lemonade (made with lemons, not the British meaning of lemonade).

This will fix everything.

Just sit back, relax, and put it all in God's hands.
He loves you and He will provide for you if you let Him.

Speak with the college counsellor and tell him/her all of this. Everything.
