What mental disorder does my roommate have?!
Question: Due to his strange habits and appearance at times I have made fun and dissed my roommate. One time when I dissed him I had hurt his feelings, he said dont make him fun of me I have a mental disability but did not say what it was. He has a habit of repeating the same thing that he said to somoene hours ago to himself and laughing at it. He told me he goes to authority ( a professor, an RA, or a dean) if a student makes fun of him, call him a degrading name, or hits him. He is a flat slob that eats all the time. As a 23 year old engineering major has never dated before and does not have much friends. He also is very clumsy in general and uncoordinated at sports and gets jealous when I speak of how great some of the college athletes are on our campus.

LOL wow why cant we just treat people as people. Does everything have to fall into some disorder? He grew up differently from you. Imagine growing up where everyone doesnt care what you do then you enter the real world and suck at everything and everyone makes fun of you. Would you have a mental disorder? NO!! you would be a confused child who is struggling to bloom. Make it easy on him have some frickin mercy and stop having these absurd standards that he can never be a part of. He wants to accomplish stuff but it is so out of reach everyone makes it so complicated. Zoom down to his level and treat him like a friend or if you are too good to help anyone than dont.
