Do you have people you know say don't blame stuff on bipolar?!
Question: I used to...but now he's my ex-husband. I'd just been diagnosed, and neither of us was ready to be a spouse while dealing with our own problems. Thankfully, I'm with someone now who has a much better grasp of psychiatric conditions.

We have to take responsibility for our actions, If you are depressed for over 2 days in bed, get some antidepressants and start functioning... even though it will take about 30 days to start working, that is how it worked for me after my x, then hehe i got to happy and had to have them stop making me take it.
yet to act off and then say its my 'bipolar' as an excuse will leave us doing the same thing because then 'its not my fault' I am ADD but its often diagnosed as bipolar even on me.
I live euphorically happy, and after my x I was long time depressed.
