How to stop the anxiety?!
Question: I am taking efexor again.. well in the past I have taken only 75mg.. now 75mg.. all my problems being with my sexuality because I am gay.. well I am gonna take 150mg in 6 days.. I have 3 days taking again 75 mg but I dont feel better.. I live in mexico.. it's very hard to be gay for me.. I dont want to like the stereotype.. anyways I am taking again venlafaxine or efexor but I dont feel results

It takes time for antidepressants to work, usually a month. Always recheck with your doctor. There are many different antidepressants available, and if you do not feel better, Effexor may not be the right one for you.
Just be yourself. You don't have to be the "stereotypical gay guy." BTW I am straight and married in the US, and have many gay friends who are male. Sometimes it is easier to relate to women!

If you don't feel any better, go back to the doc - it may be the wrong med for you, or you may need a higher dose. There are other gay people in Mexico - promise!
