ADD= Attention Deficit Disorder

ADHD= Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

People who are ADD have trouble concentrating, but don't display hyperactivity/restlessness that people with ADHD have.

The difference is...hey look, a bird!

add: fancy terminology for easily distracted

adhd: Has trouble focusing on any task because of being overactive(hyper)

ADD is when you just have trouble paying attention and you tend ti\oay dream.

ADHD is when you have trouble paying attention and your hyper too.

one is attention deficeit disorder and the other is the same with hyperactivity

ADHD means that you cant control your hyperness. ADD means you can't concentrate easily.
pretty much the same thing. You usually consume alot of fish oil to keep in check, or take some nasty pills.

ADD stands for Attention Deficit Disorder. Which means that you have trouble focusing. ADHD Attention Deficit Hyper-activity Disorder. Which mean you have trouble focusing, but you're also hyper when you aren't focusing.

Under the new guidelines ADD is considered outdated terminology.

ADD or ADHD is just describing what type of ADHD a person has.
