Do I need a mental doctor?!

Question: I am depressed, constantly feel stress in my body and I worry about stupid things like my vision getting worse. I also am almost always conscious of myself and constantly am trying to make myself feel more comfortable. I also worry about what will happen after I die and what is ultimately true in life. Is this remotely normal or am I a psycho case who refuses to spend tons of money on drugs or a pyshic?

Of course not, I feel the same way, and think the same things you do. Of course your not psycho, just creative and like to think things outside the box. As for your stress and depression, accept it and move on. You got one body, one life, make what you got, kay?

The general rule is if the symptoms are preventing you from doing your normal activities, seek help. Just talking to a therapist can be really helpful dealing with things. A therapist can also help you determine whether medication is a good option for you.
Hope it helps!

yes most likely i am bipolar and i feel almost the same way as you described

It is normal for people to feel stress sometimes. It does not seem abnormal that you feel that way. It does not sound like you need a mental doctor. But if you are having serious problems with depression like having a lot of the symptoms. Then I suggest that you go to a mental doctor.

Loss of interest in normal daily activities
Feeling sad or down
Feeling hopeless
Crying spells for no apparent reason
Problems sleeping
Trouble focusing or concentrating
Difficulty making decisions
Unintentional weight gain or loss
Irritability
Restlessness
Being easily annoyed
Feeling fatigued or weak
Feeling worthless
Loss of interest in sex
Thoughts of suicide or suicidal behavior
Unexplained physical problems, such as back pain or headaches

you don't say how old and why you worry about nothing I think if you were here a big hug for you too and I don't care if your a guy that's whats wrong with the world people should hug each other and send out love

It never hurts to talk to a therapist.

I would, since you said that these thoughts are getting more bothersome recently.

Best of luck to you!

No you're not a psycho case, but if you feel so depressed that it may be affecting you physically and mentally, then first see a psychologist. If they need to prescribe drugs, you'll need a psychiatrist. Good luck.
