I don't feel like sleeping...?!

Question: I just feel like working and working and working...

and sleep reminds me of dying so I just put it off until I'm too tired

Will there be any bad effect to this? Anyone else feel like this too?

for the LONGEST time i slept for like 3 hours a day. I do have AD/HD but really i just didnt like to sleep. i just wanted to go go go. I feel like sleeping is a total waste of time. But at some point you will break down =/ im not meaning it in a negative way but lack of sleep will mess you up in more ways than you can even imagine. The more you push of sleeping to the last minute the harder it will be to slip back into a regular sleeping pattern. try eating a filling, but not sugar filled dinner or a dinner high in calories. That way you wont be wanting to GO but you will not have trouble sleeping due to hunger. Also, start seeing that sleeping is not really like dying :] i mean, i guess it is in some ways but in others its like a whole new world of dreaming??? ok cheezy...but still! i really hope this helps!
sweet dreams :] <3

Damn, you can work for me and I will sleep!!!

Sleep is RECHARGING the body. In fact passing a certain number of days completely not sleeping can result in death.

Think of it in that way. Have a positive thought about sleep. That may help.

I don't feel this way at all, but you need to sleep..Your getting sleepy, I tell you, your getting sleepy .so turn off your computer and go to sleep, or I am telling on you....lol

I don't feel like sleeping for other reasons.

I feel like if I don't stay up, I might miss a new episode of Family Guy, or something else happening in my crazy world around me.
I just don't want to miss anything!!!

But in all reality, sleep=very good for your body. It's your body's chance to recharge and repair anything damaged from your wake period, including your brain, which has got to be tired and worn from working constantly. You'd probably be able to get more productive work done in shorter amounts of time if you are rested properly. Try associating something good to sleep so it's not such a dread for you. Like the proposition of a new day with new excitements and possibilities.

I think I need to follow my own advice...

Take some sleeping pills.
