Sit down. Relax. Cool down. Have some 'me' time. Apologise to the people you were mean to... You like dogs :3? Relax with your dogs, do something you like and just stay out of the way until you cool down!

Uh... you can stop yourself from being mean to other people you know. If you don't want to be, then don't. When you feel that you want to say something or hurt someone in a way that makes them feel bad physically or mentally, just stop. Take 3 deep breaths and back off. It will be so much better for the both of you, cause then nobody is hurt in the end... hopefully. There's people like that around my school, and they're so mean. They can hurt somebody's feelings so easily and not even notice and probably they don't even care. So just back off and everything should be fine.

Hopefully it's not serious - if it continues see a doctor - but I would try some sort of meditation. IT's a lot simpler than it seems and it does a world of wonder (for many people, not everyone, but be open-minded). There are many FREE mediation podcasts which can be downloaded from itunes or elsewhere on the internet and guide the beginner through meditation. It really calms you down and makes you feel better.

Good Luck!!

Let's not just treat the symptoms! What is causing the mood swings and the "mean" behavior? If you cannot identify the cause, please see a therapist who can help you get things under control. Good luck! kjl

same here, i have the exact same problem. Maybe something is bothering internally like not being happy with a relationship, or parents or something. What i do is listen to radiohead or the beatles it helps alot. Go for a walk outside especially at night. And listen to Rocky Racoon from the beatles ( i know it has nothing to do with this but its a great song and its helped me alot)
