Calming down?!

Question: Okey I am a really nice person...MOST of the time but sometimes I just get so frusterated and mad that I want to scream at people..Today I yelled at 4 different people. Is there a way I can calm myself down..kind of fast in situations like that? I am fine here SOMETIMES by listening to music or just laying down and taking a nap but I obviously can't do that in school or anything. Help?

Remember in kindergarten when the teacher told us "count to ten before you let any words come out of your mouth...if you STILL feel like screaming....repeat it. Over and over again."
Also - is there a certain 'trigger' that people set off with you? One other thing that will work - PRACTICE YOGA DAILY. Get yourself a beginners DVD and I PROMISE ....you will Teach yourself to regain control over ANY situation you find yourself in.
Hang in there - it will get better - - sometimes you just need to figure out the REAL SOURCE of the stresses in your life - and you will be better able to maintain YOUR self control.
Good luck - let me know if it helps

Have you always have anger issues? If not, then you're probably just stressed out over something. Examine your life, and address the issue that's stressing you out. If you have anger issues, then I can't help you there. I'm still trying to manage my own anger.
