What do you call the fear of deep water?!


Question: I looked on Wiki to see if they had the answer, and all I got was aquaphobia. I don't think that it is aquaphobia because that's the fear of basicly all water. I might have a mild case, but I don't really know. Please let me know what you think.

It is called bathophobia.

    i have that too, deep water or just plain murky water freaks me out i always think about what might be down there... EEK but i dont know what its called never looked into it.

    Aqua phobia.

    it is scarey.

    aquaphobia, basically a general fear of water. don't think they have a separate fear of deep water tho.

    I coined that myself. Alt (us) is the greek root for deep or high.....plus water and fear.

    It is hydrophobia, that is the fear of water by the way
    and join the club, im scared of swimming pools and oceans
