What effect does weed have on cognative thought?!

Question: I think the way i feel about people has changed since i have been smoking weed (a long time).

Answers: I think the way i feel about people has changed since i have been smoking weed (a long time).

There are times when we love ourselves, times when we loathe ourselves, and times when we just don't know what we feel. It's easy enough to see that we ought to be more dubious when we're too full of pride; and more generous when we are too self-critical. What though, are we supposed to manifest 'more' of when we are feeling confused or uncomfortable? Patience, probably. Wait a while before reaching a judgement about what you deserve. There's something good that you're forgetting.

smoking weed in general makes you more paranoid and makes you more anxious.
you think people are looking at you and talking about you behind your back, but 9 /10 they arnt, its just you amagining it.

Smoking weed alters the way you feel and think about alot of things, and the majority of it you wont notice until you stop. I know that its been said many times before but it does mess with your head, i know i smoked weed for years, sometimes heavily sometimes not, but now that i dont smoke it, ican really see exactly what it did.

I have smoked weed for a number of years, not regularly, but it hasn't chnaged my persona or nothing like that.

Constant and regular use"can" make some people paranoid, but whose to say they were not already feeling that way anyway? Where's the proof?

Our personalities change wth expereinces, life, age etc anyway, so I for one wouldn't put the blame on the weed.

perception-much more positive , memory- long term is def. effected, judgment-it may be a little off, not thinking very clearly, and reasoning-like i said much more positive attitude, nicer, relaxed. I used distance myself from people that dont do what i do & i did look at people differently for what they really are!

I smoke weed all the time. Doesn't have any sort of effect on me mentally. I have an IQ of 134 and hasn't gone down at all. Just has a claming effect on me. So here is my answer. I really don't think weed has any effect on your cognative thinking. What you have has already been there to begin with. Maybe you should smoke more often. Might bring up stuff that you forgot about...

The way you take it is not like people have changed but when it comes for cognitive thoughts it will best be said "it have no effect".
But some times people smoke for reducing tension which is just a habit nothing else.
