I know i shoudln't even say this the way people see christianity but im a christian and i can honestly tell you that with out God i would have commited suicide. you can blow off what im saying but im only telling you cause i know how you feel. i mean whats the worst that can come of at least seeing what its all about. pick up a bible and read it. see what happens. it can only help.

I hope that you find what ever it is that will bring you fullfilment.

Find something that you ike- a sport or hobby. Popular hobbies that allow you to express yourself are music (singing or an instrument), drawing, and writing.

Friends are something you need. Go out and try to make a few friends. I guarantee that you'll find someone who understands you and can help you feel better about yourself.

I wouldn't be able to live without my friends or music, honestly.

Check out a $10.00 book by David Burns titled the "New Mood Theraphy." I suffered from many of the symptoms you discuss and the book provides a non-drug method to overcoming them.

You need to see a professional councellor to help you deal with these issues. There is no simple way about this. I wish there was, I'd be rich. You need to get at the root cause of these problems, work on your self image, and correcting your negative patterns of thinking.

Pills are about the last thing you need. Those should only be given in the most extreme cases. But taking them without having a physical condition to need them, in my opinion, just masks the overall cause of the depression. A therapist will be able to help you overcome these difficulties.

It depends how long this has been going on. If it's just been a couple of days, it's completely normal. It happens to most young people as they transition into adulthood. There are a lot of ways of reducing these feelings. Go out and get involved in activities, sports, or whatever. Make friends and meet people. Volunteer. All of these things will help give your life some purpose.

Please go and talk to a doctor. I have felt like you do, except the eating part and have depression. I really know how you feel about wanting to sleep and feeling worthless. The doctor might be able to suggest something other than pills. I have taken effexor, but it makes me more tired, but I'm sure there will be something.
Please go to doctor. Good luck and best wishes to you

you really sound like classic symptoms of depression...i think that you need to talk to a trusted doctor, or family doctor, that can help you out...of course, they always want to stick you on pills, but if you look on the Internet, i am sure that you are intelligent enough to research and see what herbal things you can take to feel less depressed...and then, find something that you love to do,..when i get down, I love to go fishing,...take some food, a transistor radio, and go all by myself, and just think about things...i could spend the whole day there...walking is good too...I know you are just depressed tho,and sometimes even getting up and going out is a real effort...I would pray to God and Jesus, and ask Them to help you out of this...I will pray for you too xx

Its sounds like you may have depression. Depression isn't bad if you find ways to cope with it. Like being more active, finding a hobby. Also counseling is a good way to help you find ways to cope with. And they are there to listen and suggest things. If your having suicidal thoughts you really need to talk to someone. You can overcome this. Good Luck!! Stay Strong! =)
