Any suggestions on coping with bipolar?!


Question: You need to go to a psychiatrist if you havent already. Meds really help when you find the right one. Find something healthy you really like doing and make it a hobbie. Something to relieve stress. Maybe walking, drawing, writting, painting, horse back riding, skating, ext. Anything that you love to do. Therapist also help if you dont have one already. Talking to them once a week is helpful. Oh, and Im bi-polar by the way so I know from experience. Good luck. :)

Do NOT try to deal with it alone. Therapy, medication, both. I highly recommend medication. You are one of millions. Please don't be ashamed.

Here are a few suggestions for coping with bipolar:

Stay on your meds...(if your taking them)!
Do not mix alcoholic beverages or other non- prescribed
drugs with meds. Never take yourself off the meds..................
(no matter how good you might feel)...
(That is part of the illness,YOU KNOW)!!!!!
Always leave That Decision to your doctor.................................
Get sunlight and fresh air!
Exercise........Participate in a sport......................................
Baseball, roller skating. skate boarding surfing bicycling'
swimming.
Participate in church.
Help the neighbors with lawn care, etc.
Stay positive.
Pray. And the best suggestion of all read the Holy Bible.
