its called a........therapist. Or if you wanna get technical...a psychologist. a psychiatrist would prescribe meds, if needed.

Any therapist! Just look in a phone book, in the yellow pages for "therapist" or "psychologist" you can also call your county's social services, which you will also find in your phone book.
go to your regular doctor and tell him you are depressed. he will have good recommendations for someone to talk to. You could also go to your school nurse or guidence counsellor (if you are in school)... there are many sources to get help.
You are not abnormal - many people feel like you do and there is nothing wrong with you reaching out to real people for help - not just yahoo answers... If you lived near here, I would give you my therapists name... she is very good and listens and has helped me a lot JUST by listening to me and tossing out some simple ideas...
You should not wait, it will be worth it to get stuff off your chest and it will make you happier!!!

yeah, I'm not a god person either... therapists don't usually push god on you! they are typically pretty cool!
