What do you do when you're sad for no reason?!


Question: I'm going through puberty, that's probably why. And I have been in a bad mood since I got home from school, just feeling depressed and stressed and like a loser. School hasn't been too stressful, and I don't think there's a reason that I'm so depressed. I don't need to see a therapist, it's just a bad day and it's probably hormones or w/e.

What do YOU do when you're temporarily depressed or having a bad day?

I sing and dance to myself like an idiot when I'm alone. (I'm not being sarcastic or anything, honest). It strangely amuses me. but then I'm a strange guy.....

I talk about it with friends.
it is a hard phase in peoples life. Just find something that you love to do. Like i play video games. expecially my favorite video game like Zelda ocarina of time. Some thing like that do something that you love to do and something that you can do in no time at all to get it set up.

i know how you feel. i just listen to my ipod for a few hours. it relaxes me and gives time to think. life can be just plain crappy sometimes...hope your day gets better!

i soak it in cuz if you just ignore it and try to get happy then you'll most likely be sad again sooner because you didnt get your sadness out.

if you really want to be happy though run!!! i had such a crappy day 2day 2 b/c of this a.ss at my school but i had track after and i felt so much better when i was done

im a girl so when im going to get my period, i always get like this, so i go for a drive, or I cook. those things relax me, but when those things dont help i cry. that totally cleanses my spirit. I hope you feel better honey. Here let e sing you a song:

When I'm feeling down, I like to take some time to be selfish. Do something that comforts you. For me that might be; watch a favourite film, read a good book, have a hot chocolate, cuddle with my kittens, have a bath then just relax on my bed, day dream about holidays or what you want to do in the future (in a positive way). Just get rid of all that negativity. Take time for yourself, just make sure you don't snap at people or do anything to upset others. Because if you do, they are likely to be people close to you who you care about and they care about you. Remember, you need those people, they will be the people who help you through rough times. And if you have already upset someone because you were in a bad mood. Perhaps you should think about how it made them feel and try to say sorry. That in itself might be enough to make you feel better. x

when you are really sad, nothing can make you forget the pain. some things can ease the pain, but nothing can truly take away the sadness.

just let it be, the more pain and depression you feel, the stronger you will get.
