It sounds like you did nothing wrong. Your grandmother gave you money to help you out because she loves you and wants to alleviate some of your troubles. Your aunt may be angry because she perhaps felt that your grandmaother couldn't afford to give you money and is maybe worried about her. Also, she could be angry because of jealosy or something else that is HER problem. We all have a decision on how we feel. She chooses to be angry. Your grandmother chooses to be giving. You can choose whether to feel guilty or not. I think you should just be very appreciative of your grandmother's generosity and explain to your aunt that that is just the way it is. If your grandmother really can't afford to be giving out cash, make a mental note to pay her back someday when your finances are in better shape. Good Luck!
You didnt do anything wrong... some people just get jealous/ mad over the stupidest reasons. Hope everything gets better for you.

Could it be that your Aunt thinks you should not have a handout as you wasted your own money?
Or, perhaps she is angry that you the money and not her.
Either way, if your Grandmother gave you money voluntarily, you have done nothing wrong!
nothing. who cares if your aunt is mad, you have enough on your plate.
