Has anyone else felt like this? poem?!
Question: Relizing I wasn't alone,
all thats left is picking up the phone.
As soon as you said hello,
you knew I was very low.
"Not a friend I have about"
you heard me about to shout.
Before I shed a tear,
I opened my eyes and faced the fear.
Asking questions of "Why,
should I spare this life of mine"
"My heart oh-so bleeds,
nothings left for my other needs"
The burning in my eyes
told me I was about to cry
The pain is real,
unfortunitly its all I feel
"Tell me all the things,
and the feeling they bring"
"Festering from the wounds,
leading you to thoughts of doom"
I listed the things
my heart allowed me to bring
Telling someone this stuff
was really tough.
You never gave me blame,
whenits hard not to feel shame.
Knowing you truly cared,
made it easier to share.
I wanted to die,
from these feelings deep inside
Not knowing how else to think
helped me to sink.
Deeper that I went,
made it easier to forget.

up and took a hike

Yes, I have felt both the emotions. Depression and the relief of sharing my burdens. It's a beautiful poem.

i love your poem sometimes people wonder why i cry when they say really mean things its just that my life is so misunderstood i kinda had child ause i moved to a foreight countr not knowing one word i have a evil sister death in family sometimes i feel that im the only one who cares about me.but,anyway yes i can totaly realate to that.

i think everyone has periods of depression. the real question is how long does this go on? is it days, weeks, months, years? you may seriously need some help. you are not alone in this battle. you are not alone in the world. unless you live in a cave, you effect the lives of others.
