Why do i feel sick/weird all the time?!

Question: Please help, I have been feeling like this for a while now.
I moved out last january and now live on my own, at first i was really home sick, sometimes my dad stays here and im fine but as soon as he goes i start feeling like it again.
When i go to bed i start to feel sick and have these weird thoughts all the time, feeling really down almost suicidal. I also feel like crying, i cant get rid of these thoughts, i try to think of something else but they always end up coming back. My auntie says im depressed but im not like it in the daytime, it only happens when im getting ready for/going to bed. I think its hormones but im really not sure.
i went to the doctors but he just gave me capsules to stop stomach acid.
please help, i hate feeling like this.

thank you all very much

Sounds like you may have a bit of an anxiety disorder, especially since you have just moved away from a place of security into a new world.

Thoughts can be more overwhelming when you are quieting down at night and focusing on them, so try to do something to distract your brain - reading until you fall asleep might help.

You could ask your doctor if he recommends a mental health counselor to help evaluate you to see if you need medication or therapy to help.

And there are a few over-the-counter remedies you might want to try; there is St. John's Wort, which doesn't work for me but may help you, and DHEA, which I have taken daily for decades with great success.
Melatonin is a "natural" over-the-counter sleep aid, if you need it.
Do some research and ask your doctor about each of these before you start using them, and hopefully you can avoid stronger, prescribed anti-depressants.

You are what you eat. If you eat bad food, skip meals, fill up on junk, drink too much coffee and soda, eat too few calories, you're going to feel really bad.
Maybe your diet changed when you moved out.

im 15 and about a year ago i was feeling sick all the tmie and i used to just not really go anywhere because i was scared of being sick, although i never really was i just felt sick/dizzy all the time. i went to the doctors and they gave me anti-nausia medicine which completly did the trcik. after coming off of it after a while i felt better and although i sitll get travel sickness (which i do take tablets for) i feel fine the rest of the time.
you really should try this or go to a doctors if it is making you feel so low. i know it is a horrible feeling.

x hope this helped

You are showing signs of depression, you need to talk to your doctor about this and tell him every thought that goes on in your mind. This depressed can be relieved sometimes just simple therapy/or I call it a Vent Session which can help, or your doctor may prescribe you an Anti Depressant Medication, possibly Zoloft. Do not let this go any further, get help now and you will feel so much better! good luck!

I would say it's more than an upset stomach.. as your aunt says it could be signs of depression they are different in various people.. Not knowing the details I assume you've ruled out PMS or pregnancy.. If it persists go back to him or see someone else

I feel for you. It does sound like a bit of home sickness, not a food alement. What you need is big hug and kiss and someone to tuck you in at night and to tell you things are going to be ok. Some security. It's ok to miss home, dad, mom. If you are single and live alone, then go back home if your parents will let you. There is no shame in it. I moved out of my home out on the last years of dad's life, he passed away a couple of years ago. I know that those are the things that are really bothering you. It's ok :)

if that happening only at night time that means when you left alone or everything calms down. obviously that's night.so, you might be left thinking unnecessary things which leads to fears (illusions).so,tell your self all this is bullshit & life is wonderful and if you do it you feel the whole world is with you .

It sounds like you're having some kind of anxiety attacks. Possibly that and/or a combination of acid reflux if your doctor gave you those meds on the basis that you are having stomach aches. Also is there any kind of underlying issue, such as you were moved around your whole life and then finally had a home with your family and now are on your own and feel like it's not really 'home'? If you can, it might be beneficial to speak with a therapist, just to explain what you're feeling and to get some reassurance.

I hope things work out for you.
