How to stop being easily annoyed?!

One of the criterion of depression and anxiety is irritability. Is it possible that you meet the other criteria of either? Also just stopping in to talk to a counselor bi-weekly can also be very helpful for those who are irritable.

When someone is starting to annoy you, breathe, count to 100 and then count back to 1. Try anything that may help distract you.

smoke marijuana

work on your patience and learn to try and block things out.

Stop hanging out with stupid people.

Mood Stabilizers... anti-psychotics... see a shrink :D

enjoy the little things in life ... the breeze , the birds singing , the sunshine ..... try it , it works !!

Disparage those people who annoy you
in your heart,
you would feel much better.

I used to get annoyed easily
People got my heart and tore it
Then they ate the thing
Now my heart is dead
I don't feel as much anymore.

look at them like your enjoying it, they will stop. or exersize more. its proven people will tolerate more negitive emotions if they are more active.

I have the same problem. I just have days where I distance myself from people and keep to myself. It's hard to "work" on your patience because how are you supposed to do that exactly? Try to recognise things that trigger your anger and why they do, then you might be able to find a way to avoid getting annoyed so easily. Maybe stress or tension in your life contributes to you being easily annoyed?

I agree- smoke pot. It's really the onl thing that ever worked for me.
