Answers: Ever hear the phrase "sink or swim?"

Swimming is hard work, it's exhausting...but the alternative is pretty bad, right?

You never open up to anyone, which means they don't know what's going on with you because they can't read minds. If they don't know what's going on with you, they can't offer their advice/opinion on it. With no advice/opinions on it, you'll never know how common your problems are.

So, it's sink or swim time. You already see where not opening up to anyone has gotten you. Do you want to keep going this route, or do you want to swim?

You've got two weeks of professional help left. These aren't the end-all, but they generally offer the best and safest type of advice, the advice most commonly backed by experience and study.

Suck in a breath, square you shoulders, march into the counselor's office and spill your guts, completely and truthfully. It might surprise you that in the end, it'll hurt a lot less than cutting yourself.

Go to www.webmd.com and search 'self mutilation.' It might give you some insight into why you're cutting yourself, but don't stop there. Use that counselor while she's there to use.
