Is mental illness something you're responsible for?!

Question: do people cause their own mental illnesses? if so, should they be held accountable for them, or are they just victims who deserve our sympathy?

Answers: Most mental illness are really emotional imbalances that if unchecked can distort everything in your life.
When named Mental illness most think they cant help themselves but to know it is an emotional imbalance gives you something to work on.
Watch your thinking, what do you dwell on. step aside from them & stop justifying how they began... the fact is if you give thoughts mind time, YOU CHOOSE to. See your thoughts as seeds, plants & weeds & make a project of sorting out which you want to grow. Think about who you want to be & how you want others to know you as & think about the type of thoughts you will need to dwell on to become them. Nasty thoughts you will be nasty. poor me thoughts you will drain others & they'll run etc etc. Once you get going it gets easier & easier.
Write It all down & work Slowly at this project. use a dictionary & thesaurus to understand words so you can make them part of who you are. Sloppy thinking-sloppy life.
All the best.
