Fear of...please don't laugh lol...please help?!
Question: music is always on in this house. especially lately with me. but my dad always had a music channel on and that music video...phil collins...genesis...this is the world we live in one....came on...i watched it and was like "thats so weird"...then watched a couple more times....it's been about 18ish years and im still terrified of it. i watched it a couple years ago and it's definiteally not as bad as i pictured as anyone with a memory like that will know. its a lot scarier in your memory...before you face that fear again. but yeah im freaking myself out typing this...how can i get over this...there were nights when i would be so scared LATELY!! of it...i might sound pathetic but anyone with a fear from childhood will understand...please help ...im really scared right now lol...this is so bad lol. anyone know how i feel? maybe even about the same one?!
Answers: Hi! It is so weird, a long time ago, when that video first came out on MTV, I watched it and I was really freaked out and would sit there for so long as though I were stuck in shock mode or somthing. And anytime it would come on, I would get really weird, and stare at it and not be able to stop watching it even though I would really be freaking out.
Ok, I though I was the only one~~~!!! Ok, Yes it is and can be very frightening. I really hated it if it came on when I was by myself - oh MG! I remember those days so clearly now.....hmmmm.
Don't think it's a bad thing that you feel that way. I did. Try to get your mind on something else. Thats really something that I think should help.
Watching something like that when it has a big affect on you is so hard to get out of your head!!!
I think replacing those thoughts by getting something else in your head instead would really help you right now. I don't know what to suggest as I don't know your interests other than wrestling and your dog. (I read your post recently about your dog!)
