Im takeing geodone is it ok to drink?!
Question: hi i have to take these medications for probably the rest of my life i was wondering if i can ever drink again..i asked my doctor and he said yes but im not totaly satisfied with his answer...lets say i take my medication in the morniniing and in the night time i drink and get drunk, and right after that i take my meds...or if i stop takeing my meds for a day (nothing will happen) is it ok to drink or do i still have to get the meds outa of my system...please tell me how this works and if it is possible for me to drink again... thanks
Answers: Have *a* drink the first time and see how it goes. Just in case, make that a night when you don't have much up the next morning. Everyone responds differently to these meds, so you will not know until you try. All in all, it's fair to say that going out and getting plowed will not be a good idea (and I'm pretty sure that was not what your doctor signed off on). Ignore the ppl who say you should never have a drink again in your life. At the same time, remember alcohol is a depressant and a destabilizer. You'll eventually pay if you over do it.
PS - don't skip your meds to drink. That is stupid.
