Do I have Sadistic traits????(HELP ME)?!


Question: I dont know why, but people who made my life hell, are having a very hard time right now because of me. I literally messed up their lives, whenever something weird used to happen to them , I made sure that my nasty comments were known by everybody and they laughed at them?? Or am i just being tooo vengeful??
Either way i really need help coz this is really affecting me, I'm making bullying peoples life really miserable. And it has affected my friend circle as well :(
I'm being very irate and short tempered, please help me.
I know its bcoz poor emotional contact with my parents , but what can i do , they ALWAYS criticize me!!!! And well they've physically abused me as well so no hope at personal front
Please help me!!!


Answers: Well . It does sound really creul or mean..
Then you have to look at why are you like this.? Since you mentioned at the bottom about your family and the effects from it. I see this problems as the barrier you had put up to block your feelings or reactions in from it, are finally breaking free. Since we can't hold things in forever, no matter how hard we try.
So right now your actions are throw out there at those around you, that you felt had wronged you or hurt you.
If you don't gain some control over this now. It can come back on you worse. I suggest that you find an outlet with a person that still hangs out with you. Ask them to do something fun. Like riding bikes, rollerblading, Maybe doing arts or crafts. I found that at my darkest moment, I would draw pictures using dark colors to get things out. I'd then do another one with brighter colors. something pleasant looking. As that is how you hope to feel eventually. This will take a while. As you have to find something that suits your personality. You may need a whole new circle of friends to help you through this. ( not meaning leave the present ones, just exand on the ones you have.) Go to church youth groups, or take walks soaking in the sun and beauty around you. Leave the reality you live with behind for a while. During this time if you have a cell phone turn it off, but definitely have it with you, in case you need it for any reason. As you want to have (alone) time to think things through. You are looking for a new path and direction to take you out of this pit you are in.
Write out these feelings of anger out on paper or in a journal. These things are just yours no one has to see them.
Then take a bright slip of paper, write positive things you once felt about yourself. Things that made you feel good and comfortable. ex: fun to be around, smart, creative, energetic, smart, self confident, talents, etc.
Then on the other side , or a seperate piece of paper. Write what you presently hate about yourself. tape the slip of papr on your mirror, or somewhere that you can read it everyday. the negative slip/ list cover up but don't lose. As when you see the positive points you know are in there and then focus on them, then they will eventually come back to you. It takes a while for this to happen. Then when you feel your anger or vengeful side come out. Quickly think about one of those positive things. You can use a reward system for each time you can pull through them, and remain positive instead of mean. ( maybe using a dish of ice cream, or chocolate or what ever your faavorite sweet is. Then if you dont want to use that kind you con put a penny or some sort of coin or symbol in a dish or tin , what ever you have. At the end of each week count how many you have in there. You'll begin to see them increase as you can think positively.)
I believe you can overcome this If you feel you are valuable and worth getting the true loving you back. God loves you and created you as a miracle and gift to this world. Try to remember that daily. I'll be praying for you to see a brighter side you who you are and leave what you are right now behind you , to remian there in your past.
