Why can't everybody ever see the good things about you?!
Question: Why do they always have to focus on the bad? And why do people always assume you know that you have to do something even though nobody told you to do it?
Answers: like the song says, "if there's something that you lack, all you do is give it back..."
it's amazing how many people walk around all day feling at loose ends, grumpy, dissatisfied, irritable, unhappy with the general condition of their lives. and all anybody wants is a little bit of sunshine to warm them up. if you can shine a little light on people, and make them see how great they themselves are, they still won't see you for who you really are, but they will know you have done something for them and they will be grateful. maybe some of them will even stop and take a second look at you to see some of the good things.
as for people assuming you know how to do something, yes, it's terrible. people always want somebody else to make their lives easier, but they are not willing to take the time to share and teach. you will have to deal with that until you know everything, which is to say, forever.
the best way to get started on a good path is to look around at all the people and see what is good about them. then you are halfway to being able to make friends with them, to help them make their lives better, and to getting them to allow you to do what is right for you.
