Starting??!

Question: Okay so a while ago (september last year) i stopped self harming (i did it using scissors/a pocket knife).

But recently i was shaving my legs and accidently cut myself down by my ankle and it started bleeding. I saw the blood and liked it, and it stung a bit, and even though it was a little bit it felt so good. And now sometimes when i am shaving or even cutting something out i 'accidently' cut myself. Even if i'm in front of other people i do it, hence the 'accidently' part. It's mostly when i am pissed off at someone, but i've been down this road before and want to stop.
How can i stop?

Answers: self-control. every time the urge arises remind yourself: you are harming your body permanently, this won't help resolve the problem that you have with the person you're upset with, and you will find yourself back down that road at a dead end. tell your parents too. you dont have to struggle alone, they will help you because hey, they're you're parents! therapy might be needed in your best interest if you continue but don't worry, i have faith that you can do this! best wishes!

you need to sit your parents down and explain your unhappiness. tell them that your depression is deeper then what they see and understand and that this isn't your first time harming yourself and you want it to be the last. tell them you love them and trust them to help you and that it was difficult talkin to them about it. this will draw their attention because they probably havent realized that you were so uncomfortable talking to them. they're you're parents. their job is to keep you happy so help them understand how they can do their job!
