Stress relief tactics!?!


Question: I'm pretty sure I've asked something similiar to this before, but I don't think I received many answers.

I've been pretty stressed out recently between friend drama, school, family and other stuff.

What are some good tactics that I can do to relieve stress on a daily basis other than naps (been doing that and it's becoming a big waste of time)? My doctor prescribed a day of rest on Sunday, but I wasn't able to take it because I had to come back to school last night and my mom said 3 hours was enough. I haven't been stressed out like this since middle school when I was dealing with 3 people that I cared about being suicidal and being all three's main confidante.

Any ideas will be an immense help to me! Thanks!


Answers: This has helped me tremendously....I take three praise songs or contemporary Christian songs with good words and I sing them with the music while reading the lyrics.

...for some reason all the vexing problematic, depressed feeling seems to fly away and I am surprisingly happy. I don't feel like doing it prior to singing but when I start for a while and then finish I am a totally different person.

...I guess the Bible is true when it says that God gives peace...the type of peace that people cannot give..this peace and joy goes way down deep.

So if you could find some good Christian songs from I-tunes and google search the lyrics. You will be very surprised.
