Schizophrenia caused me brain damage?!

Question: my schizophrenia was drug related because i was taking too many xanax at one time(i cannot recall what happened during a 3 day period).it went away but im still wondering if it caused permanent brain damage and if so will it heal over time?

Answers: If it was related to xanax, it should settle down. It should not have caused any permanent damage. See the doctor again in about three months if you continue to have any problems.
