Question: I have had adhd all my life I did not find out I had it until I was 30. I am now 32. I cannot take medication as I have liver and kidney diease and it is too risky. I am having real trouble with handling my distractibilty, Impulsivness and cannot easily make transitions. I also have problems with anger. I am finding my wife gets angry at Me alot because of these symptoms my money management is always an issue. I was wondering if someone out there could give Me advice on how to successfully manage these symptoms so that I do not have my wife angry at Me. My wife always says that Ive known about my adhd for 2 years and sheould be able to handle it better then I do my argument to this is that it is eassier then she thinks to cope with my adhd withput the assitance of drugs. any suggestions I could try would be greatly appriciated. Thank-you very much.

Answers: Be more aware of your diet-- your food intake. Avoid refined sugars, high fructose corn syrup, any type of sugars -- these usually makes you hyper active. Avoid white flour stuff as well i.e. white breads, cookies, cakes. Just give it a try for a few days, record your intake and reactions during the day.. are you less moody, more tractable? also try surfing www.mercola.com for EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). This is very good for control management. You have nothing to lose. You experience results instantly. There are many topics out there for EFT tapping. find the one that may suit you.
