Y do i feel guilty about cutting myself???!

I've cut myself a few times because I'm really severely depressed and it makes me feel better because I feel like I deserve to be hurt and it leaves a scar that reminds me of that, but I am sad that my parents don't care (i've told them) and that it hurts my boyfriend every time i do it, but sometimes i just cant help it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What do you expect to get out of it!? Temporary relief!? You may be feeling sad because you know that it's not giving you complete satisfaction or it may be hurting the ones around you!.

Deep down you know it doesn't solve anything!. I know how hard it is to resist!. When you're in the moment, everything just goes away and it's just you and your weapon of self-mutilation!. Just try to take a step back and look at yourself the next time you're in that situation!. Is it worth the scars!?
