Question: Who knows how to deal with Sociopaths!?
I am at the end of my rope!. I was married for a long time to this quentessetial sociopath, I am told by many counselors!. His long arm of destruction reaches across the country!. And please don't tell me that I choose to let him hurt me!. Sure, that is true at times!. Who would tell

It is so profoundly difficult to surrive this sort of person!.
I am trying to let him not pay me any more spousal support!. but my spousal support comes off the top of his income and that puts him in a lower tax bracked!. He tells people that I am a long term alcholic and drug user!. Gosh I can go years without and drink and I have most of my adult life!. And as for drugs!. I just take what the doctor orders!. Yes!. one is a anti anxiety pill!. I need them!.

What I've read about sociopaths is that they don't change!. Their behavior is hard-wired!. If you think he will kill you, call the police, get a restraining order, do anything!!
I am sure your situation is difficult but I'm also sure that you know nothing will happen if you don't take action!. Ask your doctor to refer you to a life coach who can advise and walk you through a course of action so you can move on!. Life is way too short and tomorrow is not promised!. So get to it!. How to deal with them is how you think you should best deal with poison!? What do think the answer should be!? Get it or him out of your system and life completely!. I suggest instead of just seeing counsellors, I would see a support group so that you can find others like yourselves and maybe feel a bit better and get advice from eachother like a network!. I think that you really need to go to counseling or a support group to help yourself get through this!. Dealing with someone like this can truly be impossible!. A person like this is not logical therefore you can't ever really reach a logical conclusion!. It is very difficult to draw boundaries with this kind of person!. You need support!.
