Have you ever came home from a trip and found yourself getting depressed?!

Question: Have you ever came home from a trip and found yourself getting depressed!?
I flew back home from a business trip to milwaukee yesterday!. When I was in Wisconsin, I felt great, was very relaxed even though I had a lot to do for work!. I got home and was in a decent mood, and this morning I woke up and I am feeling do depressed!.

Maybe I just don't like being here at home!.

Was wondering if other people have experienced that at all!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yeah!.!.!.!.don't know where you came back to, but it's probably less about location and maybe more about resigning yourself to the same basic banality of routine!. I had a great time in Oregon recently, but have been fighting slumps since after coming back to the usual digs!. Hopefully the better weather will pick you up some!? Or you can find a new experience in your local environs!?

Are you living alone !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's the opposite for me!.!.!.!. I love to be home!. I usually am more stressed while I'm away!. It might have something to do with the places or people I visit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have!. My theory is that when on vacation (or business trip) it takes me awhile to get into that frame of mind and really enjoy myself!. If it is business trip you could change it to relaxing and/ or accomplishing what you wanted!. I know that when I went on a cruise in January, it took me a couple of days to enjoy myself!. By the end of it I did not want to go home!. Back home I am a different person and all of the problems I left come rushing back!. It takes me awhile to adjust again!.
Hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I love coming home after a trip!.!.!.but I am insanely jealous right now you were in Milwaukee :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi
Yes, there are 2 reasons!. Ther e are lots of unseen , unfelt covery cognitive processes hapening !.

Firstly , any trip- holiday- buissness or pleasure is STRESSFUL!. yes, it involves planning, constant orientataion to new places, people and situations!. It is also covertly taxing as in aholiday for eg every move means loss of resourses- time speant so the holiday is getting spend, every move cots money- cab, food, staying in a room, water , seeing the sights, doign things!. there are contaant calculations going on!. So, holiday is work! If its a buissness trip add work to the above!. many people dont realise this!. esp, for eg: we generallly advise patinets of depression or major mental illness NOT to book a holiday as soon as they are recovering!. Also, many peopel come back ill whereas they might have previously been okay!. According to age and ones exploration, you might be trying new things new sports, new cuisisne even drugs and laocohol- all this affects us!. Our brain and bodies do not take a break when on holiday!. So in a way our routine is bad disturbed on a holiday- we sllep more, move more, eat more , drink more, have more sex - so you returned tired and maybe low!. Its transient!. It should pass in a week unless you left your sweetheart behind!
"nd reason could be direction of air travel- This might sound bizzare but research has shoown in patinets with mental illness(nobody will put money into doing this for normal people) a transcontinental flight from west to east casues mood to go low and east to west causes a euphoric state!. this is very subjective!. Why does this happen!? I dont remember but these are the oods bits of science that you remember when you are reading for exams!.
So, take time, wind down, get back to your boring/ exciting life and return to life!Www@Answer-Health@Com
