I've been pulling all-nighters for two weeks...?!

Question: I've been pulling all-nighters for two weeks!.!.!.!?
I haven't slept at all during the night these past couple weeks, and the only sleep I get is about an hour in the afternoon (3-4) and most of the weekend!. So, of course, I start to get tired during school!. Without changing my sleeping habits and without any more caffeine than usual, how can I keep myself awake in class!? And if during class, I feel myself starting to doze off, what can I do to help me stay awake temporarily, or until the end of the class!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol, I think you're missing the point!. Your body can only take so much!. You need to actually get some real sleep and take care of yourself! Your body can't continue to function if you aren't getting enough sleep!. There isn't an answer to your question in the way that you are asking it!. The answer is to change what you're doing and get some real sleep for a few nights!. I understand this is finals time, believe me, I'm in a PhD program myself and am doing the same thing, but you won't be able to retain any information if you aren't well rested anyway!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body needs sleep period!. You can actually die from not sleeping!. You will actually die sooner with lack of sleep than from lack of food!. Get some sleep, don't hurt yourself!. Here's a link below with some info

Seems like you are suffering from insomnia !. You have to see a sleep therapist !. Do you have the habbit of doing something like computer during night !? If yes , get rid of the habit and sleep early !. 1 hour sleep is too low , and it calls for immediate attention !.

I'm afraid you're going to have to hear this - you definitely need to change your sleeping habits - not getting enough sleep can cause both physical and mental health problems, and people who do not get enough sleep are more likely to make mistakes, due to their inability to concentrate!.

Instead of asking how to keep awake in class after an all nighter, how about improving your sleeping routine beforehand!? Try going to bed at a set time each night!. After about a week, your body clock will reset itself to this time and you will get the amount of sleep you need!. Since you're at school, I would suggest going to bed at around 10:30!. Start preparing at around 9pm with a warm bath (not hot, as it'll keep you awake) and a hot milky drink!. Then,if you need to, read a book you know you'll find boring!. You should soon fall asleep!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
