I have personal experience with this phenomenon!. My father became ill on Feb 12!. His birthday was Feb 24!. On the 14th, the doctor had "the talk" with him during which my father realized this would be his "final" illness, and that he would not get better!. He asked, "Well, Doc, how long do I have!?" The doctors said he had no way of predicting!. "We didn't expect you to make it through the night, and here you are!. We just don't know!." Dad said, "Well, I came into the world on February 24th!. That might be a good day to go out!." The Doctor said, "Oh, L____, that's two weeks from now!. It's good to have goals, but we can't promise anything here!."

Dad set about helping plan his funeral, picking the music and pall-bearers, settling final expenses, and saying goodbye to family and friends who came from all over to say goodbye for the next two weeks!. He became so weak that he couldn't lift his head, but still he remained in good spirits!. The night before his birthday, we gathered with cake and punch, and at midnight, we went in for his "party!." He tasted the cake, but couldn't swallow!. Mom helped him discard it into a napkin!. The last words he spoke were "I love you," to my mother in the early morning hours of the 24th!.

Still, he hung on!. We thought that he had just tried so hard to make it to his birthday that he couldn't let go!. He finally passed away on the 28th!.

I've lost friends and relatives soon after major events!. It was like it was a goal, something to make it to, something to live for, and then when the event was over, they just didn't have the energy to keep going!.

For accidents, it would be coincidence, but I think the will to live keeps people living sometimes beyond medical knowledge or measurable reasons!. The loss of that will would result in the timing of the death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Coincidence!? I haven't noticed that trend with anyone I ever knew that died!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not sure!. It seems its coincidence!. My Dad died within two weeks of his birthday and my Uncle died two days before mine, which was five months before his!. I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The biggest suicide date is Christmas!.!.!. but I think this is the time that most people feel lonely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The accidental or natural deaths are just coincidence!. The suicide deaths may be due to the birthday!. Birthdays and holidays can be very lonely, especially when you're reminded that you're getting older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Coincidence, just cause it's (almost) their birthday doesn't mean they can't die on that day, just like when someone would die on Friday 13th, maybe that's different with you, I don't know if you're superstitious but I think it's just coincidence, as for the suicides, some people just hate birthdays or think it would be symbolic, maybe to get someone's attention who ignored themWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think the best way to explain how all three relate is Karma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
