Question: Lamictal for bipolar!?
I know about the "bad"rash, but can it also cause a rash on the neck!? I started taking it on wednesday, and the rash appeared yesterday!. It doesn't itch, but the skin is hot to the touch!. I called my doc, and I'm waiting for a call back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

SJS rash can occur anywhere!. Lamictal also makes ppl prone to any type of rash!. Take them all very seriously and act immediately as you have!.

If the rash on the neck causes swelling then you are probably severely allergic & should go immediately to the closest ER!. If you have any Benadryl (Diphenhyamine) take it immediately!. I have severe allergic reactions to a number of Meds & insects so you may well be going into anaphalactic shock, which if not treated promptly will end in suffocation or respiratory collapse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ive been taking lamictal for over a month now and I dont have the rash!. But I have been watching posts about lamictal, and apparently if you get rash, its serious call your doctor now!Www@Answer-Health@Com
