Question: Does this sound like social anxiety!?
Today I was hanging out with my friend playing frisbee golf and we ran into some of his friends and they joined us!. This happens quite often, and everytime I'm around people I don't know, my mind goes completely blank and I hardly say anything because I can't think of anything to say!. I was in therapy for 2 years and at the end of every session, we determined that I have generalized anxiety disorder and that we need to find a way to fix it!. I've always been kind of shy, but never had social anxiety(this is a recent thing, like the last 2 months)!. So does anyone think I have social anxiety, because I don't feel anxious around people(I love being around people), I just go blank or could it be something else!? Also, any advice on how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, do you feel nervous when you're around strangers - how about public speeking!?
Only you can be sure of the diagnosis to be honest - you're the only one who knows how you really feel!. A doctor of psychologist can only be supportative!.

yes it is social anxiety!. The problem ,is , the more you worry about it the stronger it gets!. You should be more worried about the medical aspects tham the social aspects!. hell everyone is crazy anyway!. Nothing you do or say, can be percieved as abnormal, because there is no one qualified to judge!. if they gang you, then declare yourself king, and send me an email, and i will show you how to "KING"! hell i am at this time managing a corporation, built on a grudge list, of volunteer enemies!. I simply absorbed them into my kingdom!. they are sccreaming bloody murder, nowadays, because two of them died, back in jabnuary!. The man murdered hiw wife,and then shot himself!
