Cry when blamed for something?!


Question: Cry when blamed for something!?
For some reason, I tend to get very emotional when I get blamed for something or if didn't do something right!. My entire mood changes!. My throat clenches and my mouth trembles and it's very difficult for me to speak in the situation without starting to weep!.

If I'm alone, I can usually control it (if I choose to), but if I have to interact with others when I'm like this, then I cry!. I'm overly sensitive!.

I hate to admit it, but I'm the same way -- and I'm a grown man! I'm afraid it's just the way we're hardwired!. I have to use mindtricks: (1) concentrate on un-furrowing your brow -- making the space between your eyes wider and wider, and opening your eyelids!. (2) Form an image in your mind of a funny cartoon character, photo, or drawing (images work better than words or stories)!. (3) Form an image of something, uhh, naughty!.!.!. you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to be like that!. As soon as you feel like that, think of something else!. Start up a random conversation with someone!. Keep saying 'I don't care' in your head, until you believe it!. Feel free to email me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you have a type of anxiety!. Talk to your doctor about it!. You can get psychotherapy to try and determine why you react like this and try to overcome it; or you could do some type of behavioral therapy to change the way you react to the stressors; or perhaps there is a medication that will help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At the times when I do not want to cry in public or around people that I don't know, I have found certain things helpful!.
Close your eyes and try to relax!. Take deep breaths!.
Tell yourself "I am not going to cry!. If i feel like crying I can wait until I get home!."
Sip on a cold bottle of water!.
It is hard when we find ourselves on the verge of tears in places that we don't want to cry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
