Question: How do you wake someone up who took two Ambien sleeping pills!?
My friend stated that he accidentally took two sleeping pills because he forgot he already took one!. I called the ER and he will be fine but now, for the life of me I can't wake him up!.
How in the heck can I wake him up!. I've shook, pulled, tugged on his arms, legs!.

That's why they call them sleeping pills - there isn't much of an antidote that I've ever heard of!. Probably means he's recovering from a lack of sleep elsewhere so it'll be pretty much impossible!. Once he does come round, water would be a good idea as that'll dilute the effects a bit more!.
Ok, if you wanna get extreme then you could try ice cubes (in a plastic bag) on his face [ideally for short periods] and back of his hands!. The latter is a little risky however as it can be like putting your hand in water!.
You will most likely have more luck a little after REM sleep when his eyes stop moving!. Don't do it within 5 minutes as he could suffer sleep paralysis (perfectly harmless but not nice)!. That's the most likely time when he'll be receptive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
