I'm not very aware of my emotions, and time seems to fly by?!

Question: I'm not very aware of my emotions, and time seems to fly by!?
Except when I'm stressed or angry, I'm hardly aware of my emotions!. I can smile at something funny, but I never feel truly happy!. It's as if I'm always bored if I'm not stressed!. I also tend to mope around a lot, and not be productive!. The lack of feeling is really weird, and the onset of it was probably two or three years ago, when I went through my first breakup (I was 14)!. I had never been so stressed before; I'd lie in bed for hours, and then keep waking up once I had finally fallen asleep!. We cut off contact, and I got over him a year after that!. I've definitely moved on since then, and liked other guys, but I feel like that's when I stopped feeling alive!.

Has anyone ever felt like this before!? I'll think of yesterday and not remember doing anything worthwhile!. Everything has just been dulled down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know how you are feeling!. Sometimes it seems like we are just 'watching' almost, third-person observers of our own lives, where they are sort of happening and we are just kind of letting them!. It seems that you are having trouble because maybe you don't have a 'purpose' or 'meaning'; you're just kind of floating right now, no real direction, just kind of living your life!.

It seems like you have identified something you wish to change within your life!. You wish your life to be more excited, to be able to have those 'live-in-the-moment' experiences, to be happier, etc!. This is not unreasonable!. The harder (but very tangible) part is the change!.

It is hard for females to get over their first boyfriend (it is evolutionary ingrained for women to attach to their first, so it isn't your fault)!. But now, take some time and just focus on you for a while!. Find someone you want to be like or look like, and start working towards that i!.e!. sculpting your body, eating healthy, getting in shape, changing your thoughts / motivations / outlook!. Start identifying negative thoughts (i'm so tired, I dont' want to do this, I hate my boyfriend, I don't like insert_statement_here, etc) and simply stop saying them as they dont' accomplish anything!. Now, you will start feeling better about yourself!. Start looking around at what other people are doing and asking yourself if that is something you would want to do or try!. If it is, make a decision and achieve it! Once you have reached this point, you can start making bigger decisions which will ultimately give you much more of that sense of purpose or meaning you are looking for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are depressed maybe!? go get out with friends and have fun go to an amusement park or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
