Question: Child abuse!?
My colleague's partner works with children who have psychological illnesses due to childhood abuse!.
It's such a difficult topic to even think about or try to comprehend!.
How can we begin to understand why humanity suffers with this disease!? Why do people abuse children!?

Why do people abuse children!? Quite simple really - they are seriously ****** up in the head!.
It's not even worth thinking about it, you will never figure it out, it just confuses you even more why anyone could ever touch a innocent child!.
I get offended when people say adults who have abused children were abused themselves!. I was abused sexually through my childhood, that does not mean I would ever even think about hurting a child myself!. If anything, it would make me even more scared of hurting a child, because being hurt myself I know how damaging it is!. At the end of the day, its their choice, if they were abused during their childhood, and CHOOSE to abuse a child, its their choice, dont blame their childhood, blame themWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sadly, it will never be eradicated, there are always people who suffer mental illness, or anger issues, or ignorant, that will abuse their children, whether intentional or not!. Only in a utopic society!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

we need to look closely at the values held by society!. In the early 20th Century Rascovsky and Raucously (1950 cited in Salter, A!. 2004) believed that subjecting a child to incest would actually benefit them because it would eliminate psychosis and make the child better adjusted to the outside world and overall more resilient!. Attitudes change over time therefore everything is a social construct!. Knowledge is relative!.

(ANS) As you so rightly say trying to comprehend something that is so horrible to most ordinary people is very difficult in deed!. However, at the most basic & simplistic level people who commit abuse of children were probably abused in one way or another themselves when they were children!.
**Child abuse is an abuse of power more than anything else!. The confusion is that its less about sex or selfish pleasure than about power!. i!.e!. power over or control over something or someone else!.
**The Abusers were abused themselves in the first place!. NO! that does not excuse them or they're abusive behavior!. Its just a common story that if you talk to people convicted of child abuse then the roots go back to their own childhood were they were abused!. Abuse is like history stuck in a time warp for ever repeating itself and there lyes the problem!.

i don't believe that it is a mental illness ,it is an innate sexual desire and they are fully aware of their actions!. I feel very strongly against child abusers and believe they should be executed very painfully!. For they know exactly what they do , hiding behind the mental health act is their way protecting themselfs from harm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This is a basic nature/nurture question!. When we are young and exposed to something, there is a possiblity that the child will grow up favoring that something!. As our society continues to change from a community to more of an individualistic society, people are left to deal with things for themselves!. Heres a scenario: Men and Women live together with their children (not man and women notice the plural), 2000 years ago!. Men, Women and Children all lived together and did everything together!. Probably the only time that these people secluded themselves from one another was when they went to sleep, and that probably!. 2000 years later, your lucky to find a neighborhood where people know each other intimately, like how friends know each other!. Because of this adults are left to deal with their own problems rather than as a community!. For example, woman gets water, man hunts for food, who watches the kids!? The person who is sitting next to you who is helping the community in other ways!. So, why is it we abuse children!? Adults get frustrated, and with the protection of the walls of your home your more likely to do something taboo within those walls, rather than out!. My counselor told me many people who abuse children were abused themselves, that not saying that all people who were abused will become abusers though!. I don't know why some people think it's ok to do that to a child, it ruins lives, splits families and then the child has to live with it for the rest of their life, it's so unfair!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it comes under the same topic as why do we go to war!? why do we murder eachother!? why do serial killers get a kick out of others suffering!? like with most things it really does go back to how we were brought up and what society/culture we matured in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i know what its like to be vunerable, some people abuse kids to ''share the pain'', other just grow up to be rotten, but i think this is a problem that we will never see extinct, i mean where could we start!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
