Question: How do you stop an ADDICTION!?

Hi, I cut myself too!. I still haven't found a way to stop!. I have heard that snaping a rubber band on your wrist or holding an ice cube will help!. But I think that is just renforcing pain as a way to help you feel better!. In order to stop you will have to find the underlying cause!. People cut them selves because they are in a lot of emotional pain!. Try talking to some one that you trust!. You don't have to tell them you cut yourself just tell them what ever is bothering you at the time you feel like cutting yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm also a cutter and it is a complete addiction!. I stopped for a period of time but started by choice again!. Sometimes people need treatment for it!. There are places that can help!. Also medication and other things to do when you want to cut!. Try to make other alternatives!. If you want to talk more Im available and a good listener and I have experience!.
