Question: Worried about my father!?
my father has me worried he has been in and out of the hospital like 8 times in 3 years for major surgeries including stomach surgery!.now he does not even eat he is skin and bones!.when he eats he vomits up pleghm but he barely eats!.

It's most certainly not healthy for him to not eat!. If it's pain or an upset stomach that is getting to him, then he needs to medicate himself prior to eating with pain medicine or stomach medicine like Prilosec, Pepcid, Protonix, etc!.!.!.!. He may need to start off with small portions and with foods easy on the stomach like clear liquids - broths, jello, etc!. Then work his way to full liquids - cream soups, oatmeal, grits, thinned mashed potatos!. If he doesn't do well with that he will probably have to go back to the hospital and it may be time for a visiting nurse or a home health aid!. that's a bit strange but he could be!.!.anorexic!. take him to a medical professional an dhave him evaluated and hospitalized!. better safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If your dad is staying with you then the best thing you can do for him is to keep in touch with medical services for advise!.!.!.!. Vitamin drinks are good for people when their system is out of sorts!.!.!.!.
