Hey there,

I know exactly what you mean!. You feel targeted all the time, by being picked on!. You are not always able to deal with it at that time so you hold it in!. It makes perfect sense when someone yells at you over something that seems incidental that it triggers all the other times you have felt mistreated!.

One of the perfect things to do when you feel out of control is to run or walk as far as you can until you feel better!. It releases natural endorphins that will help counteract those negative emotions!. It also allows you to have time to work on perspective!.!.!. maybe to find out why you are really upset!.

I do this all the time!. Hey, and I am a therapist!. I am a very sensitive person as well!. I have to work extra, extra hard to not let things bother me!. They still do but just not as hard!.

The world needs people like you in it!. One of the reasons I became a therapist is because i was picked on as a child and I know how that feels and noone ever ever stepped up to help me!. I wanted to be a person that would care and would step up!. I think that I am!. Its hard work but its good honest work!.

Write in a journal!. You are not intune to your own emotions!. The fact that you smile when people hurt you is a good example!. You try to dissociate from that moment!.

And, just so you know!.!.!.!.!. As adults we get our feelings hurt all the time!. We have just developed better coping skills to handle it!. You will too!. It just takes time!.

I write in a journal but I write metaphorically so, just in case someone finds it and reads it they will have not idea what the heck I am talking about!. But, I do!. I hope this helps!.

Good luck

Oh, and one good thing you have in your corner is a good sense of humor!. that will get you very far!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My dear!.!.!.this is NORMAL!.!.!.what you are feeling is something EVERYONE who has survived "teenaged-hood" has gone through!.!.!.remember that people are reacting to your ACTIONS!.!.!.not at YOU as a person!.!.!.learning to develop a "thicker skin" is just part of the process of growing up!.!.!.we all go through it!.!.!.it's how you learn "maturity"!.!.!.
There is NOTHING wrong with you hon, you're just growing up!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are just too sensitive!. Relax!. Even if you have OCD, you can overcome some of the problems associated with it by therapy and medications!. See your doctor!.

And besides, I think you do "lol" too much ~ like after every sentence!. So keep score, of the number of times you lol and try to curb the number of times you do, every day!. I'm sure there are other things you can do too!.

People YELL all the time!. They really don't mean anything by it ~ it is their STRESS talking!. Not an attack on YOU!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are experiencing a lot of emotions which are probably normal for your age!. that age is so trying!. you are in a transition stage from a child to adult and feelings are going to change as you get older!. the teen years seem to be the most trying as the adult years are starting to move in!. sometimes a person your age shows signs of ADD that are similar to what you have said!. for the most part, i would think that you are experiencing a lot of normal teen feelings and emotions!. you can go see a doctor and see if it is possible that you are showing signs of a disorder and then you would know for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You know Jessica you are just very sensitive!. I wish I could give you a magic pill that could take this away but of course there isn't one!. You know I am all grown and people still hurt my feelings easily!. I have 4 children one of them is never bothered by anything someone says to her!. Then I have one that is very sensitive but gets mad when someone hurts her!. I have a son who I ended up home schooling because he was so sensitive!. People are just born the way that they are!. You know I am so sensitive that at 50 I remember almost ever unkind thing some one has done!. As you get older it gets easier to deal with!. I assume you see a Dr!. for your OCD maybe you could talk to them about this sensitivity because sometimes they have ways they can treat it that can help you be able to deal with it better!. Sometimes it helps when your feelings are hurt, to just say to yourself, thats o!.k!. I forgive you!. You can't control them but you can control how bad you are going to let them hurt you!. You know honey sometimes people are just mean and it has nothing to do with you!. Stay strong and keep laughing and smiling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
