There are online checklists, from several different websites, and ask the same questions, but if you think you have depression, you need to go to a doctor!. You can go to webmd!.com and they have some information on depression, and symptoms, including a checklist!. If you have a bad day here and there, then you are probably not depressed, but if you are having problems that are affecting your everyday life, then definitely seek help!.
Depression is generally ranked in terms of severity -- mild, moderate, or severe!. The degree of your depression, which your doctor can determine, influences how you are treated!. Symptoms of depression include:

Trouble sleeping or excessive sleeping
A dramatic change in appetite, often with weight gain or loss
Fatigue and lack of energy
Feelings of worthlessness, self-hate, and inappropriate guilt
Extreme difficulty concentrating
Agitation, restlessness, and irritability
Inactivity and withdrawal from usual activities
Feelings of hopelessness and helplessness
Recurring thoughts of death or suicide
Low self esteem is common with depression!. So are sudden bursts of anger and lack of pleasure from activities that normally make you happy

If you have any of these symptoms, see your doctor!. Depression is treatable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try typing in BDI, or Becks Depression Inventory!.
There should be a self scoring test, but this by no means should be a subsitute for professional help from a therapist, psychologist or a doctor; preferably the first 2!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
