It's nice of you to be such a good friend, but the truth is, you can't help him get over his dad's death!. What you can do is to listen when he wants to talk, and to hug him when he starts to cry!. After a while, he will stop being so sad all the time!. It may take quite a while, but it will happen!. In the meantime, just be his good friend, as I'm sure you will!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

all you can do is be there for him !.!.!. in a week or two when things seem like they are normal again just remember your friend still is grieving and is still hurt and his dad is still not there for him or his little brother!.
when he needs to talk listen and maybe try and do some little things for him!.!.like invite him to hang out with you and your dadWww@Answer-Health@Com

I know it's hard to see your friend hurt so badly!. I remember being 13 and one of my friends was killed!. It was really tough to handle and the only thing that really helped was time!. Even now, 15 years later, I think about her!. Just be there for your friend by being strong for him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The same thing happened with my friend earlier this year, her dad died and she has two younger brothers!. All she wanted though was someone to listen to her, so she could tell all the funny stories she could remember about her dad and all the caring things he did for her!. Several weeks later things were back to normal, but she still would break down every now and then!. The only thing you can do is listen to them and be there for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
