My sister's anxiety/depression are not under control, so she took a low stress job out of her field to get confidence back!. (She is at a call center)

Being bipolar does not mean you cannot be anything you want to be!. If you are on your meds, working with caring professionals like therapists and psychiatrists, then it won't hinder you!.

Mental illness does not have to be a life long illness!. I am working on a masters and I struggle with depression and anxiety!. But guess what, it got better, it stopped consuming my life!.

I realized that I am me first, profession second and my mental illness last!. You do not have to be defined by your meds, mental illness, or anything else other than you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

None!. A lot of people have realized this and apply for disability!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

"Truthfully, very few career options are off-limits to people with bipolar disorders!. If anything, people with bipolar disorders are over-represented in creative careers-art, acting, music, and writing!. Many also gravitate toward high-excitement occupations,
including brokerage work, the top levels of marketing and sales, medicine, and other jobs that feed their need for challenge and variety!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say low anything low stress is best, but there really aren't any restrictions aside from personal ones!. Once you're properly treated it shouldn't matter a bit!. I am fully aware, however, how hard it can be to get properly treated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on the person!. A highly anxious person probably is better off with a something s/he finds low stressful!. What that is depends on the person!. A hyperthymic person (high energy) person probably needs challenge and excitement to feel fulfilled!. All fields of employment are open to ppl with bipolar and depression!. It really is what's a good fit for the individual which is pretty much how it is for everybody!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
