You can try to put her in a club or sport, etc!. to help her be with others and have to work together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well she's 12 things are changing she is growing up maybe its part of the deal!. Do not force her to become less shy becuse that would make her more shy let her come out of it on her own, unless its becoming problematic then u should just let her be the way she is and grow out of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

These solutions may seem a little crazy but they work!. The first solution would be to enroll her in drama classes!. The next solution would be to enroll her in a martial arts class!.
Each activity works on self confidence and self esteem!. This is vitally important in overcomming shyness!. Much of the time the individual does not feel comfortable in their own skin and have low feelings of self worth and esteem!.
I have several friends that have taken the drama route with their children and they all have wonderful things to report!.
I have many children in the martial arts classes I teach with "terminal shyness!.!.!." It will only take time in a supportive and encouraging environment to pull her out of her shell!.
Hope you find this helpful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Psychologically, being shy is an expression of lack of self-confidence, and you should help her to build her confidence first!. 12 is still young, so dont worry, she will be fine after growing up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way to help her is to NOT help her!. I am 22 years old and just now getting over my shyness, I used my mom as a crutch for years, she would handle stressful situations for me!.!.and in the long run it hurt me!.!.it crippled me!. She has to learn how to be independent, its going to be hard, but its important, or she will never get past this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
