Mental Illnesses, places I can go/contact if I don't have insurance?!

Question: Mental Illnesses, places I can go/contact if I don't have insurance!?
I need some help!

I've suffered with several mental illnesses in my past and I feel them "creeping" up on me again!. Nothing too crazy- But I have struggled with severe anxiety in which I was taking a low dose of Prozac, as well as a pretty severe case of adult A!.D!.H!.D!. [which I had as a kid but followed me to adulthood] haven't taken meds for this in YEARS but my conditions are getting worse and starting to affect my personal and professional life!. It's not about "copeing" with these issues as I have done this for years, I know when I NEED meds though to make it better [it comes and goes]!.

My question is this!.!.!. Does anyone know of an organization or something funded by the state [I reside in Southern California] of some type that will prescribe me the meds that I need!? I can't see a Dr!. because I don't have insurance, I can't get my meds because I don't have a Dr!. to prescribe them to me!.!.!.!.!. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Www@Answer-Health@Com

being diagnosed manic depressive and bi-polar I totally understand the comings and goings of your symptoms!. The thing about mental illness is that there is no cure!. It is a brain chemical embalance!.All mental illnessess fall in this!. Unfortunately, we live on seperate coasts, I'm in Tennessee!. Out here we have nothing for the working poor other than the health dept!. Be careful though about who you choose to be your therapist!. not all can truelly help!. Most of the time they want you to have some form of verbal, talk therapy along with meds!. If this is a!.d!.h!.d that has returned you may want to talk to your doc!. again, my a!.d!.h!.d turned into bi-polorism!. Not fun!. One minute you're on the top pole happy full of energy acting crazy, then the next you found the bottom pole and you crash or want to tear everyones head off!. The times of manic can last years!. The depression can be the same!. Most people prefer to be manic to function semi-normally!. With just loads of energy and no place to put it!. We become hyper, and try to stay focused, most of us are multi-taskers, with 100 different things going on!. Does this fit you!? I would be rediagnosed before you start the same meds!. Your condition may have changed!. Most of the time you can't tell if it's a!.d!.h!.d!. or manic!. It helps to keep notes too, keep a tablet and write everything you hear, that way you can be semi together when those thoughts try to stray!. I bet you never sit down too much either!. Being on line helps to cram your brain with something else to do right, just to be busy!. Boredom is your constant companion even at a party!. if this is you, I would say you are very manicy!. Enjoy the time, being up is always better than being down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
