medicine doesn't cure the disorders - only makes them easier to deal with -
even "normal" people have ups and downs - "normal" people aren't happy top of the world every day!
If you are on these meds you should also be in therapy because meds don't fix everything, yo also have to learn behavior modifications to learn to function in the "normal" world!
I was diagnosed bi-polar 20 years ago and this year we have finally gotten the meds right and it is the closest I have ever felt to normal, but I could not do it without the support of my psychiatrist or family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Medications don't get rid of the problem, they just treat the symptoms!. You can still have symptoms even when taking medications, but hopefully the medications will help you so it doesn't get as bad as it would get if you were taking no medications!.
I have bipolar disorder and I've had episodes while taking my medications!. It was much worse, though, before I was diagnosed bipolar and before I took medications!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you take them as prescribed!? and at the same times every day!? How long have you been on them!? It may take time for them to work dependably!. But if you experience any side effects or if they completely stop working or lag a lot, then tell your doctor!. You may need to change meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
