i work with "at risk youth" many of these kids have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD!. i my brother and father both have been diagnosed with ADD!.
what i have to say about ADD is that yes, there is something going on in the brains of he people who HAVE ADD!.!. yes have!. in the last few years drug companies have been in cahoots with clinical psychologist so the psychologist have been massively over diagnosing kids with ADHD!. also partially due to it being easy to misdiagnose as all the kids have to do is have a cup of coffee before seeing their shrink!. parents don't complain because once they get the pills into the kids, they act the way they want them to act, teacher the same idea!.
so yes, ADD does exists but not every one that has been diagnosed with it has it!.

It's real but we got along with out the meds when I was growing up and we each had to adjust to what ever our special problems were!. I have it and my children have it and now my grand children !. It runs in your genes!. Your children will most likely have it also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have it!. Its very real!. I can't concentrate on anything, and even when I try and turn off the TV, radio, etc, I'll hear crap like the clocks ticking!.!.!. If I take those off the wall, then I hear the cars driving by, or even crickets chirping or the hot water heater kicking on!.!.!. ITS SOOO DISTRACTING!!!
The people I work with have to remind me that I left something halfway finished cause I totally got caught up with a customer and forgot, or something like that!. Sometimes I feel like I could accomplish anything in the world, if I could just concentrate on something long enough to finish it!.
BTW I'm 24, and wasn't diagnosed with it till I was 22!. I don't take medicine, not because I'm anti-pill, but because the side-effects really messed me up!.!.!. I won't go into details, but it was scary bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
